Brittany is a hair and makeup artist who works with me. She could conveniently do her own HMU look and created this natural look and then added red lips for drama toward the end of her session. She is absolutely stunning but I had no idea that just a week before she had miscarried and lost her baby. She told me after how much this session had played a part in her healing process and how it helped her begin to love her body again. It was such an honor for me to be part of that and another reminder of what these sessions do for women that I don’t even have an idea about. We did some artsy shots with this BHLDN bridal cape, alternating between super sensual and ethereal and then did some more va-va-voom shots with this Victoria Secret bodysuit and a simple sort of boho look with this robe from World Market.
I love Brittany’s moody shots and how connected she is with her body. She said her husband LOVED her photos but that was really just the icing on the cake because I now know this session was all for Brittany.
